James began his commercial career in sales, working in import and wholesale distribution across the UK before transitioning into local and digital marketing. Early exposure to small business challenges sparked a focus on email and performance marketing, which led him into ecommerce. He later joined Nosto, where he served as General Manager for Northern Europe, overseeing Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing.
With over a decade of experience working with retail and ecommerce businesses through major platform shifts — from Magento to Shopify and now AI-driven marketing — James brings a practical, partner-led perspective on scaling growth in a rapidly evolving landscape.
