Akeneo to showcase new features of Akeneo Product Cloud to support  retailers’ PIM capabilities to drive performance

Akeneo, the Product Experience (PX) company, will showcase new capabilities and features of its Akeneo Product Cloud solution at eCommerce Expo, (27 and 28 September 2023, ExCeL London) to help retailers unlock growth and performance through enhanced Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities.

Akeneo will hero its Akeneo Product Cloud solution, which helps companies future-proof their go-to-market strategies by bringing compelling PX to life quickly across the entire customer journey.

It will also be showcasing capabilities to help retailers’ tackle new and accelerating business processes, such as ChatGTP, as brands seek to automate PIM and more consumers expect AI-delivered product information. Original research of over 1,800 shoppers in Akeneo’s latest ‘2023 B2C Survey: Product Experience Satisfaction Around the World’ report, for example, showed shoppers now expect AI-chatbot-generated product information in their buying journeys, with demand growing +22% year-on-year.

Akeneo will join forces other MACH Alliance members, including algolia, commercetools, contentful, New Store and Valtech, on a combined booth, F10, making the stand a one-stop shop showcasing leading composable commerce and headless solutions.

The booth will also play host to several networking opportunities, including a Happy Hour on Day 1, offering a selection of vendor-inspired themed cocktails, including Akeneo PIMm’s and a non-alcoholic MACHtail, as well as a bustling barista area across the two days, offering opportunities to connect over coffee.

Akeneo’s Senior Strategy Consultant, Angus Hayman, will take to the eCommerce Expo stage on Day 1, leading a session which explores how retailers and brands can deliver the product experiences that will unlock revenue and drive commercial goals.

Following on from its silver award success in 2022, Akeneo is also shortlisted in the eCommerce Expo’s 2023 eCommerce Awards, taking place on Day 1 of the show, having made the final in the Best User Experience (UX) category for its work with access solutions retailer, ASSA ABLOY, to ensure that its 19,000+ products are listed and displayed online to give customers the most convenient, rapid and rewarding UX.
