fulfilmentcrowd launches Service and Quality Promise
eCommerce fulfilment and integrated software specialist, Exact Abacus, has rebranded as fulfilmentcrowd with a new brand identity and website, supported by their unique customer Promise designed to set a new benchmark for quality and service to the online retail sector.
The change is a result of the company reorienting themselves with a sharper focus on eCommerce fulfilment services and technology. The name Exact Abacus originates from the company’s origins as a developer of accountancy systems 34 years ago, which is no longer relevant to the company offering.
fulfilmentcrowd’s six-point Promise includes a commitment to no minimum volumes and no contracts, removing one of the key hurdles that holds online retailers back from upscaling their business by outsourcing fulfilment.
Lee Thompson, managing director at fulfilmentcrowd explains: Enquiries for our fulfilment services are growing exponentially. In light of this, we recognised that the message portrayed needed to be sharpened to better suit the potential customers we are attracting.
Our goal has always been to help online retailers thrive. By offering a service that’s available to all with no contracts and no minimum dispatch figure, we can ensure everyone gets the same great service from our professional, experienced team, regardless of their sales forecasts or growth plan.
It means that companies can dip their figurative toe in the water with us, see how it goes and then decide to stay with us if it benefits their business. Obviously, we’re confident it will.
Aligned to its no minimums, no contracts Promise, fulfilmentcrowd has also pledged to offer a transparent pricing structure, offering the same competitive costs to all online retailers. It means all customers will pay the same fee for the same service, enabling them to calculate and forecast their fulfilment costs more accurately.
The company will still offer cost-flexibility based on sales volumes and any specialist requirements, with its tailored solutions also forming part of the new Promise. Online retailers can select from a range of services to suit the needs of their business, products and customers, including white glove, dangerous goods, organic, over-sized items and Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP).
The cost and flexibility benefits of working with fulfilmentcrowd are complemented by the focus on service and quality reiterated by the company’s new Promise.
Lee continues: We’ve always offered our customers excellent and consistent service levels but the new Promise formalises that commitment with a 100% service guarantee. It means that we’re completely accountable for hitting the targets we’ve agreed and, to ensure our customers know we’re serious about delivering on those standards, our Promise includes automated, no quibble refunds if we should ever fall short of expectations.
fulfilmentcrowd is able to offer its 100% service guarantee thanks to its highly-trained, UK-based team and its ISO9001-accredited quality management systems, which form the final two elements of its new Promise.
Lee adds: Our Promise means our customers can rest assured that quality is built into every process and every touch point. Our friendly team guides customers through the start-up process and supports them to ensure they get the best from our products and services. Meanwhile, our quality assurance processes mean customers can be confident of the highest industry standards across everything we do.
Online retail is a fast-paced and challenging business environment and we believe that we’ve structured our business and communications to help companies maximise their sales and profit potential.
